Training/Formation: International Comparative Rural Policy Studies (ICRPS) summer institute
Source: International Comparative Rural Policy Studies (ICRPS).
Portland State University and Oregon State University host the seventh annual International Comparative Rural Policy Studies (ICRPS) summer institute. The summer institute is designed for graduate students and professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge of rural policy.
International Comparative Rural Policy Studies (ICRPS) is a co-learning experience of international, multi-disciplinary faculty, guest speakers, graduate students and professionals. Participants study the many facets of rural policy, from policy formulation to policy impacts, and explore similarities and differences between their countries and those of other participants.
The ICRPS summer institutes provide students with the opportunity to study in two countries. For students who wish to attend two consecutive schools (one in North America and one in Europe), the program includes advanced topics and an opportunity to share research results with faculty and other students.
