"Excluding satellite, broadband Internet access service is available to 93% of Canadian households. Virtually all urban households and 81% of rural households can have access to broadband service."

In this report "Urban is defined as a built-up area within CMAs and CAs, being classified as urban cores, urban fringes, and secondary urban cores. Rural includes rural fringes, which are rural areas within CMA/CAs, and urban areas outside of CMA/CAs."
