PRISM (Policy Reform Implementation Support Mechanism) is in the process of looking for a Canadian expert in regional rural development to provide advice and technical assistance to the initiative’s end beneficiary – the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration under an upcoming initiative on rural development in the Zakarpattia Region of Ukraine.

PRISM is a 5 year CIDA funded technical assistance project, managed by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE). The project provides targeted support to strengthen the policy formulation, implementation and coordination capacities of Ukrainian government institutions in selected sectors. Sub-Project Title: 016 ZK- Capacity Building of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration to Develop and Implement a Regional Program of Rural Development in the Zakarpattia Region
Position: Canadian Expert in Rural Policy Development & Implementation
Period: 50 days – September 2011 to December 2012, including 3 missions to Ukraine
Location: Zakarpattia, Ukraine & long-distance support work from Canada
Application Deadline: August 31, 2011
